Description

Kalanchoe luciae, also known as Flapjack, is an amazing looking succulent with a rosette of big, round leaves. The leaves can get to 20cm tall, and 15cm to 20cm wide! The massive leaves resemble clamshells, they are jade green with vibrant wine-red tips during winter when grown in the full sun. In late winter to spring the flapjacks will produce clusters of pale yellow, tubular flowers. Kalanchoe luciae is drought and salt tolerant. Flapjacks grow best in a position where they receive full sun to part shade. They require a well draining soil that dries out between watering.

Please note: the plants might be a different colour, or different size depending on the season.
