Description

Rhodohypoxis is a small, bulbous, clump-forming perennial native to South Africa. The foliage is small tufts of slightly hairy bright green grass like leaves growing to 10cm tall with star-shaped, pink flowers in late Spring and Summer. The bulbs go dormant over Winter.

Care: Rhodohypoxis requires moist soil with good drainage. The plants do not like waterlogged soil, add compost or humus is incorporated into the soil before planting. They prefer to be in full sun to part shade. The plants are not frost tolerant.
If you live in a cold climate with frosts, lift up the bulbs and store them in a cool, dark place.

Please note: the plants might be a different colour, or different size depending on the season.
