Description

Yellow Rain Lily are bulbous plants native to Argentina and Uruguay, along marshes and rivers where it gets rain almost year round except for late summer. They flower in Autumn in response to rain storms. They grow to about 15cm tall; beautiful grass-like, bright green foliage.

Care: Yellow Rain Lilies require moist soil with good drainage. The plants are not picky about soil type and can thrive even in poor soil, though they do better when compost or humus is incorporated into the soil before planting. They prefer to be in full sun to part shade. The plants are not frost tolerant. If you live in a cold climate with frosts, lift up the bulbs and store them in a cool, moist, dark place.

Please note: the plants might be a different colour, or different size depending on the season.
