The pink flowering Mugga Ironbark is native to Southeastern Australia. It grows to around 15m tall and 3m wide. This beautiful tree has a dark brown to black bark with contrasting slightly weeping, blue-grey-green foliage. It has showy pink flowers in winter and spring in clusters of 7. Frost and drought tolerant, will also tolerate infertile soil.
Care: Plant them in position that receives full sun. Water and mulch well for the first year in the ground. Fertilise with a slow release native fertiliser.
